In over two decades of experience, we’ve seen many things change rapidly while hiring for Executive Leadership levels. Each search has myriad parameters to evaluate and many subtle things to filter. One such story we have is with one of the leading conglomerates for whom we had already executed a C Level search for one of their flagship company.

 

The role in the discussion was Chief Digital Officer, which we obtained solely as a result of the trust and confidence we built through their prior C-Level on-boarding’s. Being a global role, we had to evaluate for competencies that were a rare blend of experience, domain expertise, and business acumen. We had to spot seasoned leaders with digital transformation experience, foster innovation, and having led geographically distributed teams in a highly matrixed organization.

 

We leveraged our deep research and subject matter expertise in similar searches that we have executed in the past and connected with our vast network of industry leaders. Within the first few weeks, we were able to present the four best candidates to the board. All four were shortlisted for the next level of interviews. Our client was enabled to make a quick choice on a techno-business leader with the ability to transform the app experience, scale the platform and drive digital revenue. Our journey with both the candidate and client continued for three months resulting in a seamless onboarding. Our unique engagement style, quality of profiles, and strict adherence to delivery timelines were well-appreciated and acknowledged at the end of the search.

We remember the day we got a diversity role which was one of the most critical Business Transformation roles for our healthcare client, one of the Fortune 50 companies. We were required to share the top candidates within three working days, which coincided with the weekend that would begin the next day. Due to the timelines defined, the team was under tremendous pressure, but that’s to be expected in the executive search industry. Many such experiences have given us the reputation of always being reachable for time-bound niche searches. When we received the new position, they gave us a list of candidates who had already been approached. As a result, we had a shallow pool of untapped talent. Team jumped into action to reach out to PAN India talent within 48 hours of starting the search. Together with the team’s collaborative thinking, we were able to present four high caliber profiles aligning well to the requirement specifications. Our onboarded candidate has been successfully managing complex business challenges in the Innovation Center.
